Notes: Some of Seb and Emeline's older vines (about 50 years old) planted over flint and red clay. The grapes are destemmed, macerated for 25 days on the skins, then aged for 36 months in old barrels. The long ageing here has brought warmth and softness to the green tannins and spice of Cab franc. The spice here is comforting and rounds the palate off nicely.
