Notes: We're never quite sure whether to list this as a pink or an orange wine, but it is marked as a "rosat" on the label. The garnacha is destemmed and macerated for 3 hours. The result is pinkish in colour, with a real pithy, grapefruit like tannin and acidity. Regardless of where on a wine list it should go, it is absolutely delicious!

Sant Climent Sescebes - Catalunya - Spain
Barbara and Joan Carles Torres make wine on the windswept slopes of the Aspres des Alberes, just over the border from France.
