Style: Red
Alc.: 10%

Notes: MAGNUM A new cuvée from Babass and his partner Agnes. This is from two plots, both planted in the late 1950s. This is everything we love about Anjou reds: light, almost thin texture, with fine powdery tannins, and lots of green spice.

Beaulieu-sur-Layon - Loire
Babass is something of a legend in the natural wine world. He was formerly part of Domaine des Griottes and has now decided to go it alone with his 2.4 hectares of Cabernet Franc, Grolleau and Chenin Blanc. His wines sum up natural wine for a lot of people – wild but pure and compellingly drinkable.

Grapes: Grolleau
Style: Red
Alc.: 12%
Size: 75cl bottle
Notes: From a 0.8ha plot planted in 1955, this is a blend of 2022 and 2023, after a couple of poor harvests. Distinctly Cabernet Franc on the nose and at first taste, this opens up beautifully with delicate, floral fruit. We’re thrilled to have this back!

Notes: From a 1.34ha plot planted between 1958-60. A very different wine to the 2023 vintage! This is very fruit forward with lots of brambly, hedgerow notes, with a spiced and savoury backbone. An easy-drinking delight!

Notes: A classic from Babass and Agnes. From a plot planted in the late 1950s. This vintage showcases everything we love about Grolleau: delightfully refreshing, almost violet in its aromatics, delicate fruit, and thoroughly easy-drinking! This does have a touch of spritz upon opening.

Notes: Babass and Agnes lost a lot of their 2023 harvest, so this is a blend from two plots. Direct press, and aged in underground tanks on the lees for 10 months. Lithe and zesty, with a touch of golden opulence at the end. This is a thirst-quenching delight.
