Notes: Whole bunch maceration of fruit from a single parcel planted on a mix of soils: marl, Astian sand, clay, and limestone slabs. The grapes are pressed together and then aged for 1 year in large old barrels. Delicate soft fruit perfume on the nose. On the palate there is lifted salty acidity, and an incredible purity of fruit leading to a long savoury finish. A particularly vibrant vintage. THIS WINE IS LIMITED TO ONE BOTTLES PER CUSTOMER. Tavel - Rhône
Eric used to be a beekeeper and sold the grapes from his 4 hectare vineyard to the local cooperative; the vines had originally been bought by his grandmother. In the early 2000s he decided to start making wine himself, a decision to be grateful for, and bought an additional 3 hectares.
