Notes: All the grapes are destemmed and macerated for 6 months in Georgian qvevris. Earthy, savoury, with a lovely lick of salt and a vibrant fruit-foward finish - beautiful with a meaty ragù or steak pie. This is a little reduced on opening but blows off quickly!

Journans - Bugey
Grégoire and Judicaëlle settled in l'Ain not far from Bourg-en-Bresse at the edge of Bugey in 2010. They bought just over 2 hectares of a real mix of old vines: Poulsard, Chardonnay, Gamay, Pinot Noir, Mondeuse Noir, Gueusche Noir, Durif, Altesse, Jacquere, Savagnin?
