Notes: From 31 and 36 year-old vines. Here the Syrah is pressed direct, and the Merlot is destemmed and macerated for 3 weeks in this juice. Aged on the lees for 10 months in old barrels and large concrete tanks. Some darker autumnal fruit notes from the Merlot, with a lifted spicy finish from the Syrah.

Jérôme has been making wine with his wife Stéphanie on their 12 hectare plot in the Valee d'Ibie since 2006. In the Roman era the area was extremely important for winemaking and it is easy to see why with its cool nights.
