Notes: MAGNUM From an east facing plot of old vine Syrah, Gamay, and some new plantings Vincent has done to fill in the rows, largely clay and basalt. Fermented together in wholebunches for 3 weeks, then aged in large 600lt barrels for two years. This is full of brambly fruit and bloody texture, it is delicious and complex.

Volvic - Auvergne
Originally from Normandy, Vincent settled in Volvic in the Puy-de-Dôme to make wine, having been charmed by the winemaking community and the volcanic terroir of the Auvergne.
He now farms five hectares in and around Volvic, most of the vines are Gamay d'Auvergne, and all work in the vineyards is done by hand and by horse.
