Notes: A ripasso-style wine made with whole bunches of Mattia Carfagna’s muscat; over Auvergnat gamay from Nicolas Lebleu for 7 days. This has notes of forced rhubarb, gentle fruit-forwardness, and a bloody mineral edge.

Notes: A blend of 1/3 viognier from Mattia Carfagna’s parcels in southern France, with cinsault from Le Mazel that is macerated in whole clusters for 10 days. Tart, vibrant fruit reminiscent of umeboshi with a creamy edge! This has a lovely pearlescent tingle on the palate.

Notes: Hannah has made a delightful easy-drinker with fruit from young vines farmed by the Oustric siblings of Le Mazel. Foot crushed and macerated for 8 days, this is full of floral notes, with a plummy, saline quality.

Notes: A first time for Aqueux…100% Grenache rather than Cinsault. Macerated for 3 weeks, this is still light red in colour, and in texture. There are some really classic Grenache-y notes: spiced and bloody. And all this is balanced by a heady fig leaf note and a lick of salt and acidity.

Notes: Here the Viognier is macerated in whole bunches for 7 days, then blended with the Cinsault macerated in whole bunches for 5 days. A dark pink hue in the glass, this has lovely bloody and herbal notes from the Cinsault and some pithy peach skin-like notes from the Viognier. Chill well.
