Notes: A rather special cuvée from Philippe. A duo of hotter than average vintages: in 2015 he did a long maceration of the grapes in whole bunches, then blended this with the direct press juice from 2018. Bottled 12/12/2019. This is deep orange in colour, a bit shy on the nose it is full of bitter orange, savoury notes, and Philippe’s signature twang of acidity. Best drunk in one sitting, or squirrelled away in your cellar for a couple of years.

Chasselas - Beaujolais
Philippe and Catherine Jambon started their domaine in Chasselas in the northern Beaujolais in 1997. Over the years they have acquired 3.5 hectares of micro parcels scattered around the area. From the beginning their drive has been the same: to tend their vineyards with care and without chemicals – “logically” as Philippe puts it – and to make wines without any additions, giving them the time in barrel that they need.
