Notes: This is from a plot in the hills above Pagondas of schist and quartz, and is harvested on 15th August. Long maceration in wholebunches, and then ageing in a mix of barrels and concrete egg shaped vats, has given this depth and length. There’s incredible minerality and an almost bloody freshness, all backed up by some warm fruit.
