Notes: This is from a 70 year-old plot. The fruit is destemmed, macerated for 35 days, and then aged 3 years in old 228lt barrels. The nose is smokey, with the spice and green notes of tobacco, but the palate is a lot more fruit forward than you’d expect. The depth of blackcurrant with a hint of spice. This is just lovely.
