Notes: Another year, another new label but a familiar cuvée name from a few years ago. Here Jérôme gently macerates the grapes on the skins for about 10 days, before ageing on the lees. This is bright and fresh with acidity, and you're met straight away by familiar Sauvignon notes (a touch of elderflower perhaps?). It opens up into denser, richer fruit, with some pithy tannins.

Rochefort sur Layon - Loire
