Notes: This is from their plot in the Auvergne (the Gamay), as well as their new plot in Hérault (Syrah and Grenache). The Syrah and Grenache are destemmed and macerated for 5 days before pressing. The Gamay is then macerated in whole bunches in that juice. The result is a lovely mix of spiced southern fruit, with a sprightly zip and freshness from the Gamay.

Châteaugay - Auvergne
We met Francesco, the first of the Carfagna's, in 2017.
