Notes: The 2023 vintage was very wet and warm, and much of the harvest was lost to the suzuki fly (all the Dornfelder and most of the other reds were decimated). This is much lighter in colour than the last vintage, and is fresher and fruitier too. Savoury on the palate, with a lovely refreshing finish.

Mandel, Nahe - Germany
Pauline and her younger brother Carl are the sixth generation to be making wine at Weingut Baumberger. Since 1855 their family has been farming the varied soils of the Nahe, and the farm has now grown to 15 hectares. Carl has always known he would end up making wine, and after studying viticulture and winemaking he returned to help the family business. When Pauline returned home, they had the idea to create Glow Glow–a chance to experiment, be creative, and most important make delicious wines.
