Notes: The 2023 vintage was very wet and warm, and much of the harvest was lost to the suzuki fly. A mix of destemmed and carbonic macerations of grapes harvested over two weeks, fermented and aged in old 1200lt and 2500lt barrels. While lighter in colour than their Rot, this has more length and complexity. It is bloody and lean, with delicate fruit and lots of minerality.

Mandel, Nahe - Germany
Pauline and her younger brother Carl are the sixth generation to be making wine at Weingut Baumberger. Since 1855 their family has been farming the varied soils of the Nahe, and the farm has now grown to 15 hectares. Carl has always known he would end up making wine, and after studying viticulture and winemaking he returned to help the family business. When Pauline returned home, they had the idea to create Glow Glow–a chance to experiment, be creative, and most important make delicious wines.
