Notes: A first time for Aqueux…100% Grenache rather than Cinsault. Macerated for 3 weeks, this is still light red in colour, and in texture. There are some really classic Grenache-y notes: spiced and bloody. And all this is balanced by a heady fig leaf note and a lick of salt and acidity.

It begins with intense pineapple-y brightness and crunchy tannins, but as it opens up it becomes more peachy/apricoty with lovely bitter notes.

Notes: A welcome return of this exceptional Tuscan rosato – rich, bold, bloody, but also bursting with ripe fruit and a refreshing backbone of acidity. Juice from sangiovese is ‘bled’ from a tank after 8 hours, before fermentation in concrete tanks. The base wine is then combined with the skins of Trebbiano and Malvasia from the following year and fermented together. This rosato is only made in certain years!
