£27.00
Limited Availability

Producer: L’Eau qui Dort - Lisa Le Postec & Paul Aublet-Cuvelier
Region: Auvergne, France
Grapes: 50% Macabeu (Vingrau), 50% Grenache Blanc (Bedarieux)
Style: White / Maceration
Alc.: 12.5%
Size: 75cl bottle
Notes: The Grenache Blanc is from Bédarieux in the Hérault, and sees a 2 day pre fermentation maceration in whole bunches before pressing. The Macabeu is from Vingrau and is macerated in the trempette method (whole bunches macerated in a portion of direct press juice) for 4 days. Herbal and pithy, this has a lovely balance between deep, darker notes and lifted fruit and acidity.

Lempdes-sur-Alagnon - Auvergne

L'eau qui dort is the tale of a man and woman. It's the story of Lisa Le Postec and Paul Aublet-Cuvelier. A couple, who make wine individually (watch this space) but also make these vibrant wines together, as a way of experimenting with grape varieties and different soils and climates. These are wines that are less introspective and more playful than they might be if they had made them on their own. Read More…
