The vinification is a touch more complex this year – dornfelder, regent and pinotin (a hybrid) are destemmed and macerated for 6 days; St Laurent is macerated for 2 weeks, and the pinotin is pressed off directly.Aged in a mix of stainless steel tanks and old barrels. Light, with vibrant acidity and gentle tannin, this is one to drink cold (and in one sitting) in the last rays of the summer sun.

Notes: Each vintage of Leo’s Les Bulles is rather different, and wonderfully fun; they’re true expressions of the vintage itself. This year equal parts Muscat, Sylvaner, and Riesling, and there is a touch of residual sugar. The Musacatiness coupled with the savoury finish make this a fantastic aperitif.
